During the heatwave in the summer I had to pop into Chichester early. So in the afternoon I decided to have a wander down the canal and was rewarded with an abundance of wildlife.
I seemed to have got there just at the time when all the babies were on the water and they were all dead cute.
As it was so hot I did not make it very far along the canal but once it was cooler I went back and walked all the way to the marina. Though did not have my camera with me then so will have to go back with my camera. That time I saw a pair of kingfishers too, were so fast I would never have caught them on camera anyway.
The lush vegetation along the canal seems to be thriving in all sorts of birds and I must spend more time in the area.
